League Position
The League is pro-choice. We support measures to protect a woman’s access to reproductive health care and to assure safe entrance to health care facilities. We oppose efforts to require parental consent and notification for procedures.

In the final days of the 102nd Illinois General Assembly, legislators passed and Governor Pritzker signed into law legislation to ban assault weapons and protect reproductive care in Illinois.
