Rosemary Heilemann is a member of the LWV of Deerfield/Lincolnshire, IL. She has been in the League 44 years, beginning in Glenview, IL, before moving to Buffalo Grove.
Since retiring after 30 years of teaching, she has also taken on roles in LWV Lake County ILO, LWV Lake Michigan Region ILO, LWV Upper Mississippi River Region ILO, and is also a LWVIL Vice-President and Co-Chair of the LWVIL Issues and Advocacy Committee.
She is a founding member of the LWV Deerfield Electoral College Committee, which has been working since 2017 to educate the public about the need to abolish the electoral college permanently by Constitutional amendment.
