Melissa Lieb

Melissa Lieb is from the LWV of the La Grange Area. She joined in 2013, working on Voter Service activities, and after serving as Board Secretary, she moved onto coordinating Candidate Forums. In 2020, Melissa presented "How to Coordinate a Successful Candidate Forum” at the LWVUS convention. She currently serves on the LWVIL board of directors as Voter Service Co-Chair, in addition to continuing with her Voter Service activities for her local league.
Melissa earned her UIC Bachelor Degree in Business Management in 1997 and holds several construction certifications. She is most proud to be a Registered Roof Consultant; one of less than 30 women worldwide. She is also a Certified Construction Contract Administrator. Melissa is president of Mac Brady Associates, Inc., a Roof Consulting firm and a Certified Women Business Enterprise and sits on the Board of the Chicago Chapter of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants. Her ability to anticipate, prepare, organize, along with conflict resolution and problem solving skills, are important in both candidate forums and project management of construction projects.
