Blanca Campos has been involved in the government affairs realm of the association industry for over 12 years and in that capacity has led advocacy efforts at all levels of government. 

In her current role as the Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs at Community Behavioral Healthcare Association of Illinois (CBHA), Blanca is responsible for providing expertise and leadership on diverse behavioral health issues that impact providers and consumer, including modernizing the behavioral health system and Medicaid funding, workforce development, streamlining rules and regulations, and crisis systems.

Blanca earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Rockford University and her Master’s in Public Administration from DePaul University.  She has been named to the prestigious DELP Scholar (Diversity Executive Leadership Program) of the American Society of Association Executives and, just recently, the CBHA Board of Directors has appointed Blanca as CBHA’s next Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2022.
