Steve Andersson

Steve Andersson is a retired member of the Illinois House of Representatives.  During his tenure, he was floor leader for the House Republican Caucus and oversaw all debate on the House floor. In addition, Steve led a bi-partisan initiative to end the longest state budget impasse in US history. Steve also served as a Commissioner of Human Rights for the State of Illinois. Steve has been a practicing lawyer since 1992 and is licensed to practice in Illinois, the 7th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Steve is currently a principal with Nekritz Amdor Andersson Group LLC.  The firm, formed in 2017, provides personalized and professional lobbying and consulting services for clients whose mission includes a public benefit.  Clients include United Way of Illinois, Metropolitan Planning Council, Illinois Housing Council and the Illinois Justice Project.
