Elaine Nekritz

Elaine Nekritz served in the Illinois House of Representatives from January 2003 through October 2017, representing a district in north and northwest suburban Cook County. During her tenure, she chaired numerous committees, including Judiciary Civil Law, Personnel and Pensions and Elections and Campaign Reform. She served as Assistant Majority Leader for over six years.

Through service in the House, Elaine has relationships with members in both chambers and on both sides of the aisle. She is respected by Democrats and Republicans in both the House and Senate.

Elaine is currently a principal with Nekritz Amdor Andersson Group LLC.  The firm, formed in 2017, provides personalized and professional lobbying and consulting services for clients whose mission includes a public benefit.  Clients include United Way of Illinois, Metropolitan Planning Council, Illinois Housing Council and the Illinois Justice Project.

Elaine earned her law degree from the University of Michigan in 1982.
