Hilary Denk

Hilary Denk is an attorney, certified mediator and US House of Representatives senior staff member. She has participated in local and state leadership of the League of Women Voters for the last twelve years, serving as the Co-President of the LWV of Downers Grove, on the LWVIL Board, and the LWVILIssues and Advocacy Committee. She currently chairs her local League's 100th Anniversary Committee. In addition to her board service with League, Hilary has served on the boards of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Coalition to End Homelessness, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet and recently ended her nine year tenure on the board of SCARCE, an environmental education and humanitarian organization in DuPage County. She also founded a community garden with her family and friends at her local church and school, a 17 year project that teaches patience and brings a lot of joy. Hilary lives in her hometown of Downers Grove with her husband, John, and has two children, Max (24) and Olivia (20), and a lovely pup, Luna. Hilary loves to travel, cook, read, garden, golf and spend time with friends.
